Snapshots
Keep a version of a prototype before Claude reworks it.
Save a snapshot
A snapshot is a dated copy of a prototype, every variant in it, kept next to the current one. Save one before a change you might want to undo.
Press ⌘S, or choose Prototype, Save Snapshot. You can also click the prototype’s name at the top of the window and choose Save Snapshot there. Or leave it to Claude, which snapshots on its own before it reworks something you already have:
› Snapshot it first, then try a darker direction.
Go back to one
Click the prototype’s name at the top of the window, and pick a date under Version. The canvas shows that snapshot, and the subtitle under the name says which one you are looking at. Pick Current to come back.
In the sidebar, a clock with a number shows how many snapshots a prototype has.
The menu on the prototype’s name needs macOS 15 or later.
Bring one back
Snapshots are there to look at. To continue from one, ask Claude:
› Go back to the snapshot from this morning and keep going from there.
