Sneak Peek is made by one person, Daniel Gourarye. This page says what the app keeps about you, why, and how to have it deleted.
Your code stays on your Mac
Sneak Peek runs on your Mac. Your projects, prototypes and code stay there, and are never uploaded.
Sneak Peek works through Claude Code on your Mac. What Claude Code sends to Anthropic is covered by your own agreement with Anthropic. Sneak Peek itself sends nothing to Anthropic.
Your account
Signing in is optional: you can continue as a guest instead.
When you sign in with GitHub or Google, the app keeps what that account shares: your name, email, profile picture and, for GitHub, your username. It also keeps the app and macOS version you last used.
This is how I know who is using the app and can reach you about it. It is stored with Supabase, and only I can see it.
Usage data
While sharing is on, the app sends a usage log about once a minute: launches, projects added with their stack (such as the Next.js, Vite, React and Tailwind versions), prototypes created and edited, renders, and errors with their messages.
It goes with a random ID the app creates for your copy of it. As a guest, that ID is all it carries: not your name or email. If you sign in later, your usage from before joins your account.
Project and prototype names are replaced and file paths are removed before anything leaves your Mac. It never includes your code.
You can see exactly what is shared, and turn sharing off, in Settings, under Account.
Feedback
Help, then Send Feedback, opens an email in your own mail app with a usage summary in it. You read it before you send it, and nothing is sent unless you do.
Updates
The app checks GitHub for new versions. Like any web request, that check shows your IP address to GitHub. No other information about you or your Mac is sent with it.
This website
This site sets no cookies. It counts visits and downloads with Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or identify you, and only sees which pages were visited, where from, and the kind of device and browser.
The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs, and the download is served from Vercel too.
Selling and sharing
Your data is never sold, and never shared with anyone beyond the services named above that run the app.
Deleting your data
Email daniel.gourarye@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, and your account and all of its usage data will be deleted. As a guest, send the ID shown in Settings, under Account, and its usage data will be deleted. The same address is for any question about this page.
